Gossip is a contraband story that is told to others when the main character is absent.A negative slant is often the outcome.Positive talk or praise about others cannot be classified as gossip.Gossip spreads with almost virus like qualities.It can destroy,distort and delay the truth.It is a form of verbal sabotage,guerilla warfare and is a well disguised undercover operation.
